Jayne Moore is a British born model living in New York City, her self-denoted “Happy Place.” She was “discovered” as a teen by Select Model Management and after much rumination by Jayne, she found herself fully immersed in the world of modeling.
Jayne describes herself as being “a bit silly,” which helps keep her grounded in the crazy, whirlwind modeling industry. Beyond her modeling she is creative, industrious and curious about the world, and it is reflected in her many creative pursuits such as jewelry making, writing and interior design.
Her interests lie also in learning about human habits, emotions and behaviors. She enjoys musing over some age-old psychological issues like the ‘nature versus nurture’ debate and the ‘mind’s awareness of itself’ concept. Jayne Moore studied both psychology and accountancy in college because even though her brain is full of wonder and questions, she believed that if all else failed, she could fall back on her accountancy degree and work for a company like Price Waterhouse Coopers or KPMG. Luckily, for her fans and for the rest of the world, Jayne fit perfectly into the world of modeling.
Jayne’s talent shines through especially on shoots when she is asked to model on difficult or crazy terrain. Since Jayne adores “play” and being left to her own creative devices, and being able to express herself via her own animation and movement, these shoots are among her favorite. Some of the crazy shoots Jayne holds fondly in her memory include shooting at Grand Central Station at midnight with Annie Leibovitz, and anytime at all that she works with Pamela Hanson.
Throughout Jayne Moore’s modeling career she has had her knickers wired to trapeze wires so she could be flipped and spinned, she’s had birds land in her hair, she has ridden a jet ski in high heels, and has driven many beautiful classic cars. No matter what the situation, Jayne always works the shoot flawlessly because she knows her body from every angle, and she is a master at channeling the attitude an outfit creates.
Talent blended seamlessly with her own brand of silliness has worked very well for Jayne Moore. She has worked for some of the top luxury brands in the world for hair, lingerie, TV and print campaigns. Some of these brands include Macy’s, Bloomingdales, Calvin Klein, and Mark’s and Spencer’s, just to name a few.
